A Month?

Oh my, how has this happened? A month with no posting?! Well, let's get right into it, then! Here's my photos from the last month! Thanks for stopping by!

I Baked, Scrapped, and Photographed!

My daughter has been begging me to make rainbow bread ever since she saw a video on YouTube. I have never made any sort of bread before so, I wasn't so confident that I could make bread let alone rainbow bread! So, I scoured Pinterest and then headed to the store to buy the goods. I wasn't very sure about how these would turn out so, I didn't take photos along the way but, here they are all frosted and ready to go for Alyssa's snack day at school! Wanna make Rainbow cupcakes too? Here's the recipe I used!

It's been so hard for me to sit down and find time to scrap! But, I am trying to do at least ONE layout a week. I just love this kit and I love how my page turned out! I used the Pronto Collection by Britt-ish Designs.

And, I took this photo of Alyssa earlier in the week. I just LOVE it. Such a sweet capture of her!

Valentine's Day Photos

A couple of weeks ago, the sun was shining! It was cold but, the SUN was OUT! So, I dragged her outside and took some photos for my Valentine's Day cards! I just love this crazy little girl of mine so much!!

Is It Spring Yet?

I can't even begin to tell you how much I am looking forward to some warmer weather! We've been stuck inside for so long! It's been pouring down rain. When it's not raining, it is cold and gloomy. This is what it has looked like in our house for the last couple of months!

Black and White

One of the things I that I love/hate about my photography is all the time and effort I put into it trying to make the photo just the way I envisioned it.

I love black and white photos. They are so dramatic and moving. However, for me... I can't always make the photos work the way I want. I've been playing around and am finally finding a style that works for me. I love for my photos to capture personality and tell a story. I really love these photos that I've taken. I love how they capture our life's little moments.
